Hello
This is my first try at a blog. I have heard about them for a while now, looked at other people’s but never felt the urge to create one before now.
We will see how it goes.
If you have any helpful hints for me, please let me know

Margaret. Not bad for first try. Yes can access photos. Are there any of Kirkcowan or are you just using that as your name?
Had a good few days in Kirkcowan.
I won the quiz at the 50+ club – sad thing is I qualified to be there. But I would be the youngest by 15 years.
Went to Netherbar for a meal, it was very nice.
Saw Jan & Gregor before they left to go back to Ian`s.
Also saw Dorothy when went to visit A. Jean.
Will look at your blog while you are away to see what you are up to!!
Love Helen
I look forward to sharing your travels electronically(well you wouldn’t take me along in person!!!) and am sure you are going to have a wonderful time……enjoy!

Your pj’s look sooooooooooo small compared to your bed!
Everything in USA is sooooooooo big!

Ps Simon is a medium in t-shirts!!
Am in class at the moment, but tutor has popped out so can have a look on my blog. Going somewhere tonight that has shops!!!! Yippeee!!! Going to look for a pair of shoes cos seemingly here in America I would nto be a 3 – I may be a 5. Imagine me going into a shop and asking for a size 5 – heaven.
My feet do touch the ground on the bus, but I have to admit, the steps into it are a bit big and I have to be careful when I am getting out. Better go and do some work.
Hi my name is Sarah from the glamorous location of…….Birmingham UK (not even the US Birmingham). Am sitting by Margaret and she is completely leading me astray -drinking wild parties whatever next !!!! Mind you thank goodness she is the only one who has a sense of humour. The rest of the group don’t get our jokes!
Took a tour of your hotel, on its website. Are you sharing or do you have all that space to yourself?
Have been teaching the past 2 days – bit of a shock to the system, even though it was only 3 x 20 minute sessions on phonics!!
Have fun

Yes we have a room each – I feel as if I am rattling around in it.
I would not have minded teaching children yesterday as it would have been a lot easier than the class, but as I said, today was not too bad.
by the way , in the little sepia photo there is a little girl on a trike – that is our Margaret in her home village.
